Many young people struggle to generate momentum in their interests and realize their true potential. Some may have fallen behind or lost confidence as a result of challenging or stressful life events. Others may feel stuck and unsure how to organize their interests, set goals, follow through on them, and generate momentum.

At Bespoke Coaching Group, we create highly customized coaching teams to nurture our advisees’ interests and passions, address their areas of academic vulnerability, help them set goals, and provide the skills necessary to take steps toward achieving those goals. Our advisees work one-on-one with a collaborative team comprised of several coach types:

  • Career Path Coaches with experience in advisees’ areas of interest and passion. These coaches focus on personalized, high-level exploration of areas that matter to our advisees — whether it’s a particular academic subject or specific career aspiration.

  • Content Coaches who work to help advisees make progress in academic subjects and topics that have posed roadblocks to their success.

  • Catalyst Coaches who use strategies rooted in tailored, values-based organizational principles to help advisees systematically work toward achieving goals.

  • A Core Coach who works to ensure that we’re collaborating to make progress.

Bespoke Coaching Session Lengths

The average coaching session is 50 minutes, with the final ten minutes (for 60 minutes total) reserved for Bespoke Goal Tracking. However, sessions vary in length based upon subject and topic, and longer sessions are easily arranged.

Bespoke Team Sizes

We customize team sizes to each advisee’s needs. Some advisees, for example, may benefit from one-to-three coaching sessions per week. Others, such as those navigating difficult transitions, school stops, gap years, or challenges launching from school to career, may benefit from wrap-around bespoke coaching teams working across diverse areas of strength and challenge. Most Bespoke coaching services are offered remotely. In-person coaching in NYC is also available.

Additionally, although our team may include coaches who have clinical training in medicine, psychology, social work, or counseling, Bespoke Coaching Group does not provide clinical or medical services of any kind. We are happy to collaborate with our advisees’ outside clinicians — and enjoy doing so. However, we do not provide clinical or medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment.

The Bespoke Collaboration Model

The diagram below captures the highly personalized nature of the Bespoke Model. Coaching programs with narrow goals may include a small number of coaches (e.g. one Career Path Coach and one Content Coach). Larger programs may include multiple Career Path, Content, and Catalyst Coaches. Regardless of program size, all programs are collaborative and are overseen by our Core Coach. We provide families with monthly updates and hold quarterly meetings to review advisee progress. At the request of advisees and families, we are happy to collaborate with other members of advisees’ outside teams — including therapists, educational consultants, and transitional program advisors.
